Investours is a nonprofit social enterprise with programs in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. At both locations, we bring socially responsible travelers to meet local artisans who have applied for loans to grow their small businesses. The tour group gains an intimate perspective about local culture, daily life, and the realities of operating business projects like dressmaking, woodcarving, or food vending. The tour group also enjoys a traditional, locally-prepared meal. This is an experience travelers feel good about because Investours uses tour fee proceeds to support the artisans we meet with interest-free micro-loans.
