The evening will include refreshments, entertainment and success stories from our best 4 entrepreneurs. Also there will be a presentation and guest speeches from well-known speakers from the University of Dar es Salaam Entrepreneurship Centre. During the event, our entrepreneurs will show-case their products and share their experience they had with Investours. The date will be communicated later on our website!

Fundraising dinner

Investours Tanzania has recently expanded its operation to Arusha, a town well-known for tourist activities. Investours in collaboration with Covenant Bank for Women (Tanzania) Limited plans to host a fundraising dinner in December 2013. The funds to be raised will be used to establish a guaranteed fund for the Tanzania program to make it possible for the Covenant Bank (our partner) to lend more money to our loan beneficiaries after participating on our program. Also, the funds will be used as the start-up capital for offering small loans to our entrepreneurs in our newly established program in Arusha. The support is sought from various donors and sponsors ranging from individuals, companies, development activists, development agencies, international and local NGOs, embassies, politicians and religious leaders with interest to contributing positively towards the fight against poverty in developing countries like Tanzania.

Internship Programs

In addition to our tours and other events, Investours also hosts internship programs that allow individual students, recent graduates, and professionals to gain hands-on work experience with Investours. Past interns have contributed to various aspects of Investours’ operations while developing professional skills in international development, microfinance, non-profit accounting and finance, community outreach, social media and marketing, and global management. In addition to learning from and working with Investours staff, Interns have the opportunity to develop and learn from meaningful relationships with Investours clients and other community members. We welcome students and professionals from a variety of backgrounds to apply. During each academic year, we host a 3 week program in June. For more information contact us at tanzania@investours.org
